We welcome all knowledge generating institutions progressing implemention of the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs and to help forge a sustainable future for all on the basis of all-island collaboration.

Membership in SDSN is free and open to not-for-profit institutions. Universities, research institutions, foundations, or civil society groups that conduct research, analyses, and/or data collection to advance the SDGs are encouraged to apply to participate in this global network of networks. Individuals, networks of multiple organisations, or organisations that only engage in advocacy or communications activities are ineligible for membership.

Member institutions should have deep expertise in one or more areas related to sustainable development and have capacity to commit a substantial amount of their own work towards finding and/or implementing solutions for the SDGs. Applying institutions should be well-established institutions, having been in operation for over 5 years.
