About SDSN Ireland
SDSN Ireland was launched in February of 2023 to leverage HEIs and NGOs across the island of Ireland to accelerate implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs. The network’s main pillars are:
Transformative Solutions
We collaborate to co-create and implement integrated solutions that drive SDG progress, with a strong focus on accelerating policy development and tangible impact. This includes fostering cooperation between the North and South of Ireland to maximize outcomes.
Learning & Teaching
We partner to advance Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) through professional training, learning opportunities, and events that highlight best practices. Our goal is to inspire stakeholders to shift behaviors and take meaningful action towards sustainability.
Awareness & Engagement
We provide leadership and facilitate multi-stakeholder engagements, bringing together national and local authorities, NGOs, and other key players to drive SDG implementation and promote lasting change.
